1. Surface preparation:
• Cleaning: Clean the bike frame with E-Razer Formula or similar to remove dirt and grease. Then, degrease the areas where the film will be applied using IPA Pure 99.9% and a clean, lint-free cloth. This ensures optimal adhesion of the film.

2. Measuring and cutting the film:
• Template: If possible, create a template of the area to be protected using paper or cardboard. This will help you cut the film accurately.
• Cutting: Place the template on the protective film and, using a sharp knife or scissors, cut the film to the desired shape. Make sure that the cut pieces completely cover the areas exposed to possible damage.

3. Application of the film:
• Soap solution: Prepare a mixture of water and a few drops of neutral soap in a spray bottle. Lightly spray the surface of the painting where you will apply the film and the adhesive side of the film. This solution allows you to adjust the position of the film during application.
• Placement: Remove the backing from the protective film and place it on the desired area of the painting. The soap solution will allow you to slide and adjust the film until it is in the correct position.
• Removing bubbles: Use a rubber squeegee or plastic card wrapped in a soft cloth to remove excess solution and air bubbles. Start from the center out to the edges, applying even pressure.

4. Drying and final adjustment:
• Drying: Allow the film to dry completely. Depending on environmental conditions, this may take several hours.
• Check: After drying, inspect the film to make sure there are no bubbles or loose areas. If you find any, use the squeegee to smooth them out again.

Additional Tips:
• Temperature: Carry out the installation in a clean environment with a moderate temperature, preferably between 13 °C and 32 °C, to facilitate the application and adhesion of the film.
• Practice: If this is your first time applying protective film, practice on a small or less visible surface of the painting to familiarize yourself with the process.
• Maintenance: Once installed, you can clean the protective film in the same way as the rest of the frame. Avoid using harsh chemicals that may damage the film.
